Ukrainian forces down two Russian helicopters in Kherson region

Two Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters were shot down by the Ukrainian military over the Skadovsk district, Kherson region, in the south of Ukraine bordering the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Land Forces Command, Ukrinform reports.

One of the pilots survived the crash and was taken to a hospital.

A video showing one of the downed copters was also released. It shows that the aircraft’s registration No. RF-13409.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to the Army’s General Staff, as of March 12, Russian invaders’ death toll stood at over 12,000, while hardware losses included 362 tanks, 58 aircraft, 135 artillery systems, 83 helicopters, and more.
