Kherson Mayor: City running out of food, medicines, fuel

Kherson is running out of fuel, medicines, food, and there is no "green corridor".

"Unfortunately, we do not have a 'green corridor'..." Kherson Mayor Ihor Kolykhayev said in a video interview published on the website of the Kherson City Council, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, it is impossible to deliver humanitarian aid to the city. At the same time, the city is running out of food in stores, medicines in pharmacies. There is only diesel fuel left at gas stations, no gasoline, the mayor said.

As reported, street fighting continued in Kherson on March 1, and the Russian enemy fired on residential neighborhoods. The Russian military looted many pharmacies and shops.

Kherson Mayor asked the media for help in obtaining a "green corridor" to take out the wounded and killed, send medicines and food to the city.

On March 3, the Head of the Regional State Administration announced that the building of the Kherson Regional State Administration had been occupied by a Russian enemy. At the same time, the Kherson Mayor informed that the Kherson City Hall had its headquarters, the Ukrainian flag was flying over the city, and all council members and local officials had been warned about the responsibility for treason.

Peaceful actions against the aggressor are taking place in the city and other localities of the region.

President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded Kherson the Hero City title.
