9 killed, 13 wounded in shelling of Mykolayiv

Nine people have been killed, 13 more have been wounded in Russia’s cluster munition strike on Mykolayiv city.

"As a result of the shelling ... 9 people have been killed, 13 more have been wounded, 7 of them are in the intensive care unit ... [Russians] again fired cluster munitions," the press service of the Mykolayiv City Council posted on Telegram.

The Mayor's Office noted that more than 15 high-rise buildings in the city had been damaged. The occupiers launched an airstrike on the State Enterprise Zorya - Mashproekt. Private houses were affected.

On February 24, Russian president Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, conduct massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
