Enemy shell hits private house in Kharkiv region, killing child

A Russian shell hit a private house in the town of Derhachi, the Kharkiv region, killing a girl born in 2007.

Serhii Bolvinov, head of the investigative department of the Kharkiv region police, said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of the shelling by the Russcists, a child born in 2007 was killed. Daryna went to another room to pick up toys for young children, and at that moment a shell hit their building in Derhachi," the statement said.

According to Bolvinov, the parents and two other children who were in the house were not injured.

Earlier, he said that as of 18:00 on March 13, according to available data, 212 civilians, including 11 children, were killed in the region.
