2 killed as 16-storey apartment block hit in Kyiv
A shell hit a 16-storey apartment block in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv. The building was significantly destroyed and a fire broke out from the 1st to the 16th floors. Two people were killed.
As the State Emergency Service of Ukraine posted on Facebook, another 27 residents were rescued.
In addition, a shell hit a 9-storey apartment block in the Sviatoshynskyi district, causing minor damage to the building, followed by minor local fires on the floors. At 05:36, the fires were isolated.
