Mykolayiv region under fire: 80 people wounded over past day
Eighty people, including two children, were wounded in Russian attacks on Mykolayiv region over the past day.
“Eighty people, including two children, were wounded in Mykolayiv region over the past day. All the victims were taken to our healthcare institutions and receive the necessary assistance," Head of the Mykolayiv Regional Council Hanna Zamazeyeva posted on Telegram.
According to her, 223 people, who suffered from attacks of Russian invaders on Mykolayiv region, stay in local hospitals as of this morning.
The vast majority of victims are civilians.
On February 24, Russian president Putin declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion. Russian troops shell and destroy infrastructure, conduct massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns using artillery, MLRS, and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced. Ukraine repels Russian invaders.
