Invaders defeated in attempt to raid Kharkiv on Tuesday
Near Kharkiv, the Russian invaders suffered a “disgraceful defeat,” trying to storm the city.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Sinehubov, shared the news via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, the Russian occupiers suffered a disgraceful defeat outside Kharkiv. In the afternoon, the occupiers tried to storm Kharkiv from the village of Pyatykhatky. The Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted significant losses on the enemy. The enemy was pushed beyond their previous positions," the statement said.
Sinehubov added that on Tuesday morning, Ukrainian defenders fought fiercely against the invaders in Ruski Tyshky. The firefight lasted more than an hour. In this area, the Army forced the enemy to retreat to previous positions.
It is noted that enemy losses are currently being assessed.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Kharkiv saw 65 enemy strikes in the past 24 hours alone.
