About 20,000 people have left Mariupol by private cars through the humanitarian corridor.

"Today, about 20,000 people have left Mariupol by private cars through the humanitarian corridor. Out of 4,000 cars that left the town, 570 have already arrived in Zaporizhzhia," Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko posted on Telegram.

According to Tymoshenko, other people will stay overnight in the populated localities of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. Everyone is given the necessary assistance.

In total, about 29,000 people have been evacuated from the besieged cities through humanitarian corridors on March 15. The operation of nine humanitarian corridors for evacuation of people was agreed upon.
