Russian tactics in Ukraine: positional battles, local traps for civilians, targeted strikes on shelters

Adviser to the Head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podoliak, has revealed the current tactics applied by Russian invaders in Ukraine.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to Podoliak's Twitter page.

"RF tactics. Viscous positional battles on all frontlines. Creation of local traps for civilians. Targeted strikes on objects where civilians are hiding. Maximum delay in decisions on humanitarian corridors. Informational attempts to provoke internal conflicts in our country," Podoliak tweeted.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a massive invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities and towns, using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed and general mobilization was announced in Ukraine.
