Ukraine, UK committed to strengthen anti-war coalition - Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson have again discussed Ukraine's struggle against Russian aggression and the strengthening of the anti-war coalition.

The head of state announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Held regular talks with British PM Boris Johnson. Informed about the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian people against the Russian aggression. Grateful for the strong support, including in terms of security. We're committed to strengthen the anti-war coalition & ensure peace in Ukraine," Zelensky said.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
