Over 9,000 people evacuated through humanitarian corridors in Ukraine over past day
A total of 9,145 people have been evacuated through humanitarian corridors in Ukraine over the past day.
The relevant statement was made by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In his words, fuel was delivered to Berdiansk to refill the private cars of Mariupol residents driving through the humanitarian corridor.
According to Tymoshenko, 500 people who got to Berdiansk from Zaporizhzhia were taken by bus. Tomorrow 10 buses will also be sent to Berdiansk to take Mariupol residents.
Meanwhile, a total of 4,173 people were evacuated from Sumy Region.
A reminder that, on March 18, 2022, nine humanitarian corridors were approved.
