Almost 600 multi-storey buildings destroyed in Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, enemy artillery targets residential areas, destroying nearly 600 multi-storey buildings.

The National Police wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"It is the 25th day of resistance: enemy artillery is targeting residential areas of Kharkiv. Russian occupiers continue day after day cynical destruction of the city's housing stock and infrastructure. Almost 600 multi-storey buildings have been destroyed, thousands of families have been left homeless. Kharkiv residents are forced to hide from the shelling in the basements, but do not lose the strength of spirit and faith in their defenders,” the report says.

The Kharkiv police stressed that law enforcement officers deliver humanitarian goods around the city and to territorial communities of the region every day. People get the most necessary things: hot food, bread, warm clothes, medicines, hygiene items. During evacuation operations, police escort vehicles and ensure the safe movement of citizens through the city to the railway station and other places where refugees are forced to flee.
