Sixty-five civilians already killed in Russian attacks on Kyiv

Since the beginning of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, 65 civilians, including four children, have been killed in the aggressor’s attacks on Kyiv.

“As of today, almost 300 people, including 16 children, have suffered from Russian shelling of our city. Many people have been hospitalized. Sixty-five civilians, including four children, have been killed,” Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said on the air of nationwide telethon, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, Russian invaders continue shelling Kyiv as their plan to quickly capture the capital failed.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin started the large-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops fire on and destroy key infrastructure facilities, missiles hit residential buildings. Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
