President calls on citizens to keep fighting to free Ukraine from Russian invaders

President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on the citizens of Ukraine to fight for their future and to expel the Russian military, which are essentially slaves, from the Ukrainian land.

The head of state said this in a video address, Ukrinform reports.

"I’m calling on all Ukrainians. Wherever we are. Do everything to protect our state. To save our people. Fight. Fight and help. Expel these slaves! Expel the occupiers! So that Ukraine live. And we are all with Ukraine. Free and peaceful. Which we love so much," Zelensky said.

He noted that during this invasion, millions of Ukrainian people are constantly declaring themselves heroes. Once - ordinary Ukrainians, and now - fighters. Men and women who rise up for the Ukrainian state. Everywhere: in the south, in the east, in the north, in the center, in the west and abroad. They rise in such a way that the enemy does not believe that it is true.

"But we will make them believe. Moreover, let's make them remember that they have no way to us. And never will be. To Kyiv, which stands bravely and majestically above the Dnipro. To Kharkiv... Proud, tidy, educated Kharkiv. Which they hit, and it does not obey. Chernihiv. Ancient Chernihiv! Which in the days of the Horde did not know such atrocities, which it now suffers from the Russian military," the president said.

The head of state also spoke about long-suffering Sumy, Okhtyrka and Lebedyn, Izium, Derhachi, Volnovakha, Popasna, Borodianka, Hostomel, Makariv, Mykolaiv... “Mariupol. Hardworking and honest city of Mariupol, which the occupiers are simply destroying. Destroy to ashes. But it will survive them all. Insignificant slaves who do not know how to take care of their own country. About own people. But they go to other country,” he said.

Zelensky assured that defenders and the authorities are fighting for every Ukrainian.

The war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
