In Sumy region, 300 Russian forces defy orders, pull out of combat zone

In the Okhtyrka district, Sumy region, about 300 Russian servicemen refused to fulfill their commanders’ orders and withdrew from the combat zone.

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

“In Okhtyrka district, Sumy region, the facts of disobedience on the part of Russian servicemen were recorded. About 300 occupiers refused to carry out a combat order and left the ​​operational area, pulling out 70 armored vehicles," the General Staff said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24 declared war on Ukraine and launched a large-scale invasion.
