Russian invaders completely destroy 651, damage about 4,000 residential houses in Ukraine

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine on February 24, about 3,780 houses have been partially damaged and 651 houses have been completely destroyed.

"About 3,780 residential buildings have been partially damaged, 651 residential buildings have been completely destroyed," Deputy Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Roman Prymush said at a briefing "Activity of State Emergency Service in wartime" at Ukrinform news agency on March 21.

However, he noted, these data cover only those facilities where rescuers can assess the scale of damage without endangering their lives, and there is no information about the occupied territories. Therefore, the destruction scale is much greater.

At the same time, according to Prymush, the SES already drafts plans on how to rebuild the country's destroyed civilian infrastructure.

"We already recruit forces for the upcoming reconstruction of the country," he said.

On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin started the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, and ballistic missiles.

Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
