Russian tank shoots dead family in Kharkiv region
In Kharkiv region, an enemy tank shot down a car with a family inside, killing three people, including a 9-year-old girl.
"In Kharkiv region, a Russian tank shot down a car with a family with two children. The family shouted that they were civilians, waving a white flag, but their efforts were in vain. The parents and a 9-year-old girl were killed, and a 17-year-old boy was injured," the Prosecutor General’s Office posted on Facebook.
In total, 117 children were killed as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine as of the morning of March 22. The largest number was killed in Kyiv region (58) and Kharkiv region (40).
On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin started the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced.
