Russian invaders disperse peaceful rally in Kherson, wounded reported

In the city of Kherson, Russian occupiers have twice used force to disperse a peaceful rally on Freedom Square, leaving some people wounded.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional State Administration First Deputy Head Yurii Sobolevskyi, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“After Russian occupiers used force against people for the first time, they gathered again. Kherson residents were again dispersed with tear gas,” Sobolevskyi told and posted a relevant video on Facebook.

In his words, ambulance crews were working at the scene and provided first aid to one of protesters.

A reminder that Kherson residents take to the streets and hold peaceful rallies against Russian occupiers on Svoboda Square every day. On March 21, 2022, the Russian military used weapons against unarmed people, who were protesting against the Russian aggression.
