Ukrainian defenders already destroy 105 Russian planes
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale offensive against Ukraine, Ukrainian defenders have already destroyed 105 enemy planes.
"Currently, 105 enemy planes are considered destroyed, constituting more than five aviation regiments or a separate air army," Oleksiy Arestovych, non-staff adviser to the Head of the President's Office, said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Moreover, Arestovych added, six Russian planes, one enemy helicopter, five UAVs, and five cruise missiles were shot down over the past 24 hours.
On February 24, Russian president Putin started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems, and ballistic missiles.
