Two people killed in enemy shelling of Rubizhne overnight

On the night of March 25, two people were killed in Russia’s shelling of Rubizhne, Luhansk region.

"The occupiers shelled the whole night. Two Rubizhne residents were killed. Due to the constant shelling, rescuers could not put out the fires that erupted due to the shelling," Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai posted on Facebook.

Haidai noted that the front line remains unchanged. Most of the night attacks were launched on Kreminna, Novodruzhesk, Lysychansk, Popasna, Severodonetsk, and Rubizhne.

The enemy did not advance in the towns of Popasna and Rubizhne which it had entered partially. The Ukrainian flag flies over the towns.

"As a result of the shelling, we have damaged houses and fires in apartments. The bodies of two victims were found in the street of Rubizhne. It is extremely difficult for the State Emergency Service to respond to calls, and firefighting becomes more difficult due to the endless shelling,” said the Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

As reported, according to Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, Russian invaders killed 3,000 civilians over three weeks of the active phase of the war. As of the morning of March 25, 135 children were killed and more than 184 were injured.
