Three killed by enemy shelling in Luhansk region - Haidai
Nine enemy attacks were repulsed in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions on March 25. As a result of enemy shelling, ten houses were damaged, seven people were evacuated from the rubble, and three more people were killed.
The head of Luhansk regional military administration, Serhii Haidai, said this in a statement posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
Haidai also spoke about the enemy's combat losses: "Ukrainian defenders destroyed eight tanks, 17 armored vehicles and 11 vehicles of the enemy. The total losses of the invaders amounted to 170 people."
In addition, Ukrainian air defense units shot down three enemy aircraft and three Orlan-10 drones.
Earlier reports said that Russian forces opened fire on Sievierodonetsk, Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Zolote and Shchedryshcheve on March 25.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a new phase of the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian armed forces, territorial defense units and the entire people of Ukraine have risen up against the invaders and are inflicting significant losses on invading Russian forces.
