Couple and their 3-year-old child killed by Russian invaders in Kharkiv Region

A family, both parents and their 3-year-old child, has been killed in shelling by Russian troops when driving a car in Izium District, Kharkiv Region.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On March 27, 2022, on a road between the village of Shevelivka and the village of Husarivka, Izium District, the damaged Honda CR-V vehicle was found. The dead family was found in the car: a woman, a man and a 3-year-old-child,” the report states.

According to the preliminary data, the car was shelled by the Russian military. The pre-trial investigation is underway.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile and air strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, killing civilians.
