Kyiv Region come under enemy fire more than 40 times over past day
Over the past day, the Russian military have opened fire on residential areas and civil infrastructure facilities in Kyiv Region more than 40 times.
The relevant statement was made by Kyiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Pavliuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Most destructions were caused by shelling in the following districts: Bucha (such communities as Irpin, Bucha, Makariv, Borodianka, Dmytrivka), Brovary (the Velyka Dymerka community), Vushhorod (such communities as Dymer, Ivankiv),” the report states.
The most dangerous directions are as follows: the Zhytomyr highway, Bucha-Irpin-Hostomel, Nemishaieve, the Dmytrivka community, the Makariv community, northern Vychhorod District, some settlements within the Baryshivka community, Kalyta community and Velyka Dymerka community.
The situation in Bila Tserkva District, Fastiv District and Obukhiv District is remaining controlled. The night has passed calmly, without shelling.
In Boryspil District, the downed enemy missile fragments hit a cottage house within the Zolochivska community. No casualties were reported.
In Bucha District, such communities as Makariv, Irpin and Hostomel were shelled. Such villages as Petrushky, Shpytky and Sviatopetrivske came under fire. Missile strikes were launched on the Borshchahivka community and the Vyshniv community. Enemy movements were recorded within such communities as Borodianka, Hostomel and Dmytrivka. Defensive fighting positions were created by the enemy within the Bucha community and the Nemishaieve community. Infrastructure facilities were destroyed almost across all communities.
In Brovary District, enemy vehicles were detected within such communities as Baryshivka, Kalyta and Velyka Dymerka. Many infrastructure facilities and houses were damaged.
In Vyshhorod District, a humanitarian catastrophe was reported within such communities as Ivankiv, Dymer and Poliska. The city of Slavutych was completely isolated.
A reminder that the curfew in Kyiv Region will last from 09:00 p.m., March 28, 2022, to 06:00 a.m., March 29, 2022.
