In Kyiv region, five civilians killed in Russian shelling

Four civilians were killed in enemy shelling of the village of Sviatopetrivske, Buchanskyi district, Kyiv region.

This was informed by the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram.

“According to the investigation, on March 27-28, 2022, the Russian Armed Forces, ignoring the rules of international humanitarian law, shelled the village of Sviatopetrivske in Buchanskyi district. Enemy shells killed four civilians. Residential buildings have been damaged and destroyed,” the report says.

In addition, as a result of a missile attack on the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka, a local resident was killed and residential buildings were damaged.

In Boryspilskyi district, a Russian air strike also destroyed private houses in one of the villages.

According to the prosecutor's office, criminal proceedings have been instituted.

The war with Russian invaders has been going on in Ukraine since February 24.
