In Vasylivka, invaders blocked evacuation column heading to Zaporizhzhia
The earlier officially approved humanitarian corridor Enerhodar - Dniprorudne - Skelky - Vasylivka - Zaporizhzhia was not established today. The invaders did not allow a evacuation column consisting of more 100 private cars to pass through Vasylivka.
The mayor of Enerhodar, Dmytro Orlov, informed this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Unfortunately, the officially announced humanitarian corridor, which opened this morning, did not work. The column from Enerhodar, as well as from other cities of Ukraine moving in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, could not pass through Vasylivka,” he wrote.
According to the mayor, taking into account the late time, people were recommended to return home for the sake of their own safety.
As reported, more than 130 private cars left Enerhodar, which was captured by the Russian military. Private cars from other settlements of the humanitarian corridor were to join to the column.
