Arakhamia: Ukraine publicly states its position, Russia can no longer imitate negotiation process
The Ukrainian delegation made its negotiating position public so that the Russian Federation could not imitate the negotiation process.
The head of the Ukrainian delegation and the head of the parliamentary faction Servant of the People, David Arakhamia, said this during a nationwide telethon on Ukrainian TV channels, Ukrinform reports.
“We have made our negotiating position public, and the Russian Federation can no longer imitate the negotiation process. Prior to that, there were fears that this was a process to conceal hostilities," Arakhamia said.
According to him, Ukraine invites all foreign partners to official negotiation channels. Therefore, Russia is forced to conduct real negotiations, not to imitate them.
"From a tactical point of view, we definitely won this battle. These are not the assessments of our negotiating team, but the assessments of our Armed Forces. When the Armed Forces of Ukraine give great results, we take it and use it," Arakhamia said.
As reported, another round of talks between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations took place in Istanbul on March 29. Afterwards, the Ukrainian delegation made a number of proposals to end the war, including the signing of an international agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine.
