Russians know no moral boundaries – Ukraine at OSCE
During the OSCE Permanent Council special meeting, the Ukrainian delegation told about the atrocities and war crimes committed by Russian murderers and looters in Kyiv Region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports from Austria.
“The liberation of Kyiv Region from the Russian gang of murderers and looters – I cannot call them the army – has revealed the scale of Russia’s atrocities against Ukrainians. The evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity is enormous and simply makes you speechless,” Yevhenii Tsymbaliuk, the head of the Ukrainian mission to the OSCE, told.
In his words, Russia’s atrocities in Kyiv Region confirm that Russians have no limits in their cruelty, know no moral boundaries and have no values.
“The killed were lying in the streets. Dozens of them were found with their hands tied and traces of gunshot wounds in the back of their heads,” Tsymbaliuk noted.
Tsymbaliuk told the audience about several cases of civilian killings, including executions, which were recorded by Human Rights Watch.
“In the basement of the children’s camp in Bucha, a torture chamber was set up. Ukrainian women and girls have been raped for hours, tortured and then murdered. There were attempts to burn the corpses of raped women near the road. The bodies of people were crushed by tanks. The entire family with children was burnt,” Tsymbaliuk said.
According to him, more than 400 bodies of civilians, who were murdered by Russians, have already been taken from Kyiv Region.
“The coming days will shed even more light on the massacre and crimes committed. According to Ukraine’s Prosecutor General, the situation in Borodianka is even worse than in Bucha. In addition, even more horrific images and testimonies are expected to be revealed in other liberated areas, especially Mariupol,” Tsymbaliuk added.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and bombarding peaceful cities and villages in Ukraine, torturing and murdering civilians. A mass grave with about 300 bodies was found in the city of Bucha, Kyiv Region, which had been recently liberated from Russian invaders.
