Russian authorities will have to answer for war crimes in Ukraine – von der Leyen
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has said that the Russian authorities will have to answer for war crimes committed in Ukraine.
She said this speaking at a plenary meeting of the European Parliament on Wednesday, Ukrinform reports.
"We have all seen the haunting images of Bucha. This is what is happening when Putin's soldiers occupy Ukrainian territory. They call this liberation. I call this war crimes. The Russian authorities will have to answer for them," she said.
