Kuleba calls for setting up procedure to suspend Russia from OSCE
Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has called for creating a procedure to suspend Russia's membership in the OSCE, which poses a threat to security and cooperation in Europe.
He wrote about this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.
“Russia’s unjustified aggression and atrocities shattered the very basics of the Helsinki final act. Russia’s participation in the OSCE is a threat to security and cooperation in Europe. If OSCE lacks appropriate suspension mechanisms, then set up a procedure and get them out,” he wrote.
As Ukrinform reported, on April 1, Russia blocked the extension of the mandate of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine, which had existed from 2014.
