35 MPs from 11 countries arrive in Kyiv to show support and visit liberated areas
A total of 35 Members of Parliament from 11 countries have arrived in the city of Kyiv to show support and help Ukraine to survive in the Kremlin-led criminal war.
The relevant statement was made by Member of the European Parliament, United for Ukraine Network Head Andrius Kubilius during a joint briefing with Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk in Kyiv on April 9, 2022, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Kubilius, Russia’s war against Ukraine is criminal and can be described as a war of the Kremlin neo-Nazism, and Ukrainians are now fighting for the freedom of the entire world.
Kubilius noted that the United for Ukraine parliamentarian network will continue to work on the delivery of all kinds of weapons to Ukraine; the implementation of all sanctions, including an energy embargo on the trade with the aggressor state; providing decent humanitarian assistance to Ukraine; Ukraine’s integration into the EU as fast as possible; Marshall Plan to Ukraine and the international tribunal over Putin and Lukashenko.
According to Stefanchuk, the Members of the European Parliament will also visit the areas liberated from Russian invaders in Kyiv Region today.
