Five rescuers wounded in Russian air strikes on Dnipro Airport
Five rescuers of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service have been wounded in Russia’s air strikes on Dnipro International Airport.
The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Head Mykola Lukashuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Missile strikes hit the region again. Three strikes were launched on the airport’s territory in the regional center. The infrastructure near the airport was also destroyed. Five rescuers of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service were wounded,” Lukashuk wrote.
In Novopavlivka, a civilian took cluster munitions in his hands and got killed. The details have not yet been disclosed.
The press secretary of the Main Department of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Yevheniia Dudka, and her husband, rescuer Ihor Hetalo, are among the wounded, as their colleague reported on his Facebook page.
