Six emergency workers injured in air strike on Dnipro Airport - update

As a result of a Russian airstrike on Dnipro Airport, six emergency workers were injured.

This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, Ukrinform saw.

According to the prosecutors, on March 10, 2022, the Russian armed forces carried out a targeted missile attack on Dnipro International Airport. As a result of the strike, guided missiles destroyed the facility and infrastructure located just outside the airport.

According to preliminary data, six emergency workers were injured as they came under the second strike while dismantling the debris. All affected servicemen were hospitalized.

The prosecutors launched a criminal inquiry into the Russian attack.

On February 24, the Russian Federation launched a new phase of its war against Ukraine – a full-scale invasion. Russian invaders have been shelling and bombing peaceful towns and villages in Ukraine, torturing and killing civilians.

Martial law was imposed and general mobilization was announced in Ukraine.
