Kharkiv Region shelled by Russian troops 66 times over past day

Kharkiv Region has been shelled with Russian artillery, mortar and multiple rocket launcher systems 66 times over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over the past day, Russian troops have launched about 66 strikes with artillery, mortar and multiple rocket launcher systems. Saltivka, Piatykhatky, Kholodna Hora, Pisochyn, Zolochiv, Balakliia and Derhachi were damaged. Rescuers were extinguishing fire in houses, warehouse premises and other civil infrastructure facilities. In shelling by Russian troops, 11 civilians were killed (including a seven-year-old child) and 14 civilians were wounded,” Syniehubov noted.

In his words, unmanned aerial vehicles were used by the enemy for reconnaissance purposes across the region. Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed Russia’s Orlan.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile and air strikes on residential areas in Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
