Russians fire on village in Kharkiv region: 1 killed, 2 wounded
A 37-year-old man was killed and two people were wounded in a Russian troops’ strike on the village of Babayi, Kharkiv region.
"According to the investigation data, Russian servicemen fired on the village of Babayi in Kharkiv region at about 14:00 on April 12, 2022. As a result, a 37-year-old man was killed. Two more people were wounded," the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office posted on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
Several residential buildings in the village were damaged and destroyed.
A pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder has been launched under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On February 24, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages using artillery, MLRS, ballistic missiles, aviation bombs.
