Ukraine is fighting for people can simply live and not be instruments of some regimes and dictators, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said in a Telegram post.

“Every nation has the right to live independently. Every city has the right to full security. Everyone has the right to freedom and to seek happiness. People should not be instruments of some regimes, some dictators. People have the right to just live. That's what we're fighting for. That’s what we ask you to defend with us. And that's what we will restore, I hope, with the whole world - after this war,” Zelensky wrote.

The head of state traditionally published photos depicting the life of Ukrainians during the fight against Russian aggression.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
