Several explosions heard in Mykolaiv - mayor
Several explosions were heard in Mykolaiv tonight.
According to Ukrinform, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said this on Facebook.
"We are clarifying the situation. I will provide the latest information in the morning," the mayor emphasized.
Sienkevych said earlier that on Monday afternoon, Russian troops fired rockets at three houses in the city. Two of them can no longer be restored.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
Martial law was imposed in Ukraine and general mobilization was announced. The country is repelling Russian invaders.
