Finland to provide another batch of military aid to Ukraine
President of Finland Sauli Niinisto supported the government's decision to provide additional military assistance to Ukraine.
The relevant statement has been posted on the website of Finland’s Defense Ministry, Ukrinform reports.
“On the proposal of the Government, the President of the Republic decided today, 19 April 2022, that Finland will send more defense materiel assistance to Ukraine,” reads the statement.
It is noted that more detailed information on the content, manner of delivery or schedule of the assistance will not be provided to ensure that the assistance reaches its destination.
According to Finland's national public broadcasting company Yle, decisions on previous packages of military assistance to Ukraine were approved in late February and late March.
As Ukrinform reported, the Czech Republic will allow servicing damaged Ukrainian armored vehicles at its defense industry enterprises.
