Israel to give Ukraine protective gear - embassy
Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Gantz has announced that Ukraine will be provided with personal protective equipment for rescue and emergency services.
The Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"Minister Gantz informed that in the light of the request made by the Ukrainian side, Israel will provide protective gear for the needs of Ukrainian rescuers and emergency services. This initiative will be a substantial part of Israel's humanitarian aid for Ukraine," the embassy said.
Israel earlier confirmed its readiness to host a possible meeting between Ukrainian and Russian Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin in Jerusalem.
