Russian invaders launch artillery strikes on Kharkiv, casualties reported
One female civilian and three police officers have been injured in Russia’s artillery strikes on the city of Kharkiv.
The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to the data from law enforcement officers, on April 23, 2022, the Russian military launched artillery strikes on Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi District. A 62-year-old woman was injured. A shopping mall and residential houses located nearby were damaged.
Having arrived at the scene, the police were helping with the transportation of the injured. At that moment, Russian invaders launched a repeated artillery strike, leaving three police officers injured.
The pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
