State Emergency Service neutralized almost 1,500 explosive items on Apr 23

On April 23, Ukrainian pyrotechnic workers have neutralized 1,471 explosive objects, including three aviation bombs.

The State Emergency Service said this a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

“Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service were called out 123 times over the past day. As many as 1,471 explosive items and 10 kg of explosive materials were found, removed and disposed, including 3 aviation bombs, the area of 85.64 hectares was surveyed,” the report says.

Most of mine clearance operations was conducted in Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Mykolaiv regions.

Overall, since the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion into Ukraine, pyrotechnic units have disposed 78,068 explosive items and 557.4 kg of explosive materials, including 1,955 aviation bombs. The area of 13,433.56 hectares was surveyed.
