Russian forces attack railway junctions to destroy supply routes

Russian troops are trying to destroy the routes of supply of military and technical assistance provided from partner states to Ukraine.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

As of 18:00 on April 25, the enemy continues to carry out offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Zone in order to defeat the Joint Forces group, establish full control over Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintain the route with temporarily occupied Crimea.

"Russian troops are launching missile and bomb strikes on military and civilian infrastructure, using strategic bombers, ships and submarines. They are trying to destroy the routes of supply of military and technical assistance from partner states. To do this, they are attacking railway junctions,” the report says.

The enemy also continues to increase the long-range air defense system by moving additional anti-aircraft missile systems from the territory of the Russian Federation, trying to create stocks of ammunition, logistics and special engineering equipment.

As Ukrinform reported, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia's combat losses in Ukraine amount to 21,900 personnel.
