Ukraine Army repels six enemy attacks, destroys five Russian tanks in JFO area

Ukrainian defenders have repelled six enemy attacks and destroyed five Russian tanks within the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by the JFO Group’s press service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On April 27, 2022, the Ukrainian military from the JFO Group successfully repelled six enemy attacks. Thanks to the skilful actions and competence of the Ukrainian military, Russian occupiers suffered losses,” the report states.

In particular, Ukrainian defenders destroyed five enemy tanks, one artillery system, 21 armored vehicles, one armored fighting vehicle (AFV), one motor vehicle and one anti-aircraft gun.

The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units shot down one cruise missile and three Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and April 27, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 22,400 troops.
