Russian invaders steal over 60 tonnes of wheat from Zaporizhia region
Law enforcement operatives have initiated criminal proceedings against Russian forces, who appear to have stolen 61 tonnes of wheat and other property from an agricultural firm in Zaporizhia Region.
This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office on Telegram, Ukrinform wrote.
Investigators claim that armed Russian soldiers robbed a branch of an agricultural society in Kamianka-Dniprovska at gunpoint. The invaders loaded trucks, also seized from the firm, with 61 tonnes of wheat and other property belonging to the enterprise, and took it all away.
Criminal proceedings have been launched on charges of violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Liudmyla Denisova said that the Russian occupiers were exporting grain and food from the temporarily occupied territories.
