Ukraine Army repels nine enemy attacks, destroys six Russian tanks in JFO area

The Ukrainian military have successfully repelled nine enemy attacks within the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area, destroying a large number of Russian military vehicles.

The relevant statement was made by the JFO Group on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On April 28, 2022, the JFO Group successfully repelled nine enemy attacks. Thanks to the skilful actions and competence of the Ukrainian military, Russian occupiers suffered losses,” the report states.

In particular, Ukrainian defenders destroyed six Russian tanks, one artillery system, 12 armored vehicles, one motor vehicle and one anti-aircraft gun.

The Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units also shot down one enemy plane, one cruise missile and five unmanned aerial vehicles.

A reminder that Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine have reached about 22,800 troops since the invasion started.
