Sumy region comes under fire from Russian territory
Russian troops fired on the Sumy region this morning.
According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's State Border Guard Service reported this on Telegram.
"This morning the enemy fired on the Sumy region from Russian territory. Border guards recorded more than 30 mortar mines fired from the Russian village of Gorodishche," the statement said.
The State Border Guard Service said that in one instance the enemy fired at the area between three villages in the Shostka district of the Sumy region. During another shelling instance, mines exploded on the outskirts of one of these villages.
On April 28, Russian troops fired twice at the Chernihiv region.
