Two schools, 20 houses damaged in Russia’s shelling of Luhansk Region on Apr 29
Two schools and 20 residential houses have been damaged in Russia’s shelling of Luhansk Region over the past day.
The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Two schools and 20 houses were damaged on April 29, 2022. Russians are storming Rubizhne and Popasna. These are the facilities reported damaged by local residents or fire-fighting teams that arrived at the scene,” Haidai wrote.
Russian troops launched 16 intense artillery strikes on Luhansk Region’s settlements yesterday.
In particular, last night two neighboring houses in Rubizhne were hit with Russian shells, destroyed and caught fire. Two more houses were on fire in Novodruzhesk.
Five residential houses were damaged in Hirske and 10 more in Orikhhove.
Russian troops also shelled a school situated in the newly-built districts of Sievierodonetsk, causing a fire in classrooms. Later, one more school was reported damaged with Russian projectiles.
