Odesa Airport’s runway has been destroyed in Russia’s missile strikes.

The relevant statement was made by Odesa City Council on Telegram, referring to the South Operational Command, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Odesa Airport’s runway has been damaged in enemy missile strikes on Odesa Region. It can no longer be used,” the report states.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching air and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
