Invaders fire on houses in Orikhove, casualties reported
In the Zaporizhia region, Russian invaders fired on high-rise buildings in Orikhove, killing two people and injuring four others.
Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the regional military administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, the Russian military fired at the civilian infrastructure of Orikhove - the occupiers hit high-rise buildings. As a result of enemy shelling, four people were wounded and taken to hospital, two more men died of shrapnel wounds," the statement said.
Starukh stressed that Russian troops continue to wage a full-scale war against Ukraine and offensive operations in the Zaporizhzhia area. The Russian occupiers carried out assault operations in the Huliaipole area to no avail. The enemy suffers heavy losses, but instead taking the lives and health of the civilian population of the Zaporizhzhia region.
On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of its eight-year war against Ukraine - a full-scale offensive. The enemy is shelling and bombing peaceful Ukrainian cities, towns and villages. The Armed Forces, the Territorial Defense Forces and the entire Ukrainian people are effectively resisting Russian troops and inflicting heavy losses on them.
