Russia’s combat losses in Ukraine reach about 24,500 troops
Russia has already lost about 24,500 troops in Ukraine (+300 over the past day).
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Between February 24, 2022 and May 4, 2022, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 1,077 tanks (+15 over the past day), 2,610 armored fighting vehicles (+43), 491 artillery systems (+16), 163 multiple launch rocket systems (+1), 81 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+1), 194 aircrafts (+0), 155 helicopters (+0), 1,867 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+24), 10 boats/cutters (+0), 303 unmanned aerial vehicles (+12), 38 special equipment units (+0). A total of 87 enemy cruise missiles (+3) were shot down.
Over the past day, Russian troops have suffered the highest losses in the Izium and Novopavlivka directions.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching air and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
