Russian troops shell central Sloviansk
Russian troops have shelled the central part of Sloviansk, Donetsk Region. The damage rate is yet to be reported.
The relevant statement was made by Sloviansk City Military and Civil Administration Head Vadym Liakh on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Greetings on May 9 from the so-called ‘brothers’. The central part of Sloviansk has been hit. We are now checking the damage rate,” Liakh wrote.
Liakh also called on the local residents, who have not evacuated and are remaining in the city, to pay attention to air raid alerts and stay safe.
A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching missile and air strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
